Our Fave... White T-Shirts
Lindsey's pick:
My go-to basic white tee is from Everlane. By cutting out the middle-man and eliminating the expense of a storefront, the online store is able to sell designer-quality garments at a fraction of the price. Their t-shirts are made in the US from 100% supima cotton so they are comfy and hug in just the right places (and hide just the right areas too!)
Natalie's pick:
I love all things J.Crew and come the weekend, I live in my v-neck vintage cotton tees. It is slubbed, soft, slightly fitted and looks great with skinny jeans and flats, even after the 100th wash!
Tommy's pick:
Gap white cotton v-neck - no pocket. I wear them to sleep in for at least a year before I wear them out of the house. Over time and a year's worth of washing they acquire a vintage feel and texture.
Tara's pick:
There is no wardrobe staple I love more than a good white tee. After a long and disappointing hunt for the perfect fit that doesn't lose its shape after only one wash, I turned to the Gap. Their essential short sleeve v-neck is budget friendly, not sending me into a panic with every spot or spill!
Shannon's pick:
A white t-shirt for me is all about comfort and PINK's V-Neck Tee is the essence of comfort. It's soft, cozy and big! PINK always has great deals like buy 2 for $30, and I always partake in a great deal. I literally own one in every colour and they are always my go-to t-shirts!
Laura's pick:
One of my favourite post work rituals is putting on a comfy relaxed pair of perfectly worn-in jeans and a fun white t-shirt. My current favourite is the Wilfred - Free Mueller. It has a great graphic print that adds a little hit of edge; it's super soft jersey and has a very relaxed feel. At $40, it's a great buy.
Olivia's pick:
I love a V neck because you can layer it under a sweater for day with jeans or tuck it in to a tight leather pencil skirt at night. The v shows just the right amount but still keeps it understated. Plus, this wash from J.Brand is so soft, you might as well wear it to bed after your night out with the pencil skirt.
Sarah's pick:
When it comes to white tees, I like mine basic and fitted. My current fave is about as basic as it gets - a classic white v-neck from Joe Fresh that I can grab while I'm picking up groceries. The lean silhouette means it fits well under one of my Smythe jackets (which are my uniform) for casual work days, or just worn solo for casual weekend running around. And best of all, there's a long-sleeve version to take me through the chilly months too!
