Our Fave... Throw Blankets
Tommy's pick:
I love old army blankets for their colour and their utility (after all they were made to protect against cold and damp). Military greens and greys are natural neutrals that work anywhere.
Laura's pick:
With Fall and cooler temperatures on the horizon, I begin to change out summer accessories around my apartment for warmer, more earthy accents. I begin to layer, much like I do with my Fall wardrobe. Adding a cozy blanket or throw to a sofa or bed adds a perfect accent for a chilly evening. Pendleton's Chinle Blanket is beautifully made and draped across the foot of a bed makes it the most inviting spot.
Jenny's pick:
On a recent 5 hr layover in Amsterdam, my travel buddy & I stumbled into a carefully curated accessories shop where we both fell in love with the striking ISH 01 blanket. I love the graphic stitch detail & the mix of unexpected bright colours, it was challenging to leave it behind but after a 2 week vacation, I was a little low on Euros!
Sarah's pick:
Everyone loves the idea of a cozy blanket on a chilly day. I like my throws soft and washable, (and they HAVE to be made of natural fibres), so I'm a big fan of Ikea's cream cable knit throw. It's as comfy as your favourite sweater, and looks inviting in any room of your home. Since they're inexpensive, everyone can have their own so there's no sharing needed!
Lindsey's pick:
I love a good throw I can wrap around my shoulders on chilly nights. The iconic Hudson Bay blanket was first produced in the 18th century and has become a cold weather staple for our Canadian winters. This one in cashmere is the ultimate in luxury.
