I am a big fan of Uber. The tag line says it all, ‘everyone’s private driver’. Whether it be a night on the town or a client meeting in the business district, when it doesn’t work to drive myself I can call a taxi, town car or SUV within minutes. The fare gets charged directly to my credit card so there is no need to have cash on hand or awkward conversations about splitting the fare. - Natalie

IMDB

I love this app more than I'd like to admit. There is something so satisfying about confirming who the actor is and what movies you've previously seen said actor in. I absolutely love going to the movies and IMDb can clear things up when you can't quite put your finger on it! - Jenny

AFTERLIGHT

I'm always after the perfect photo to share on Instagram, so when a friend recommended I download the Afterlight app so that I could easily edit and enhance my photos without resorting to a desktop program - I was thrilled! I'm able to brighten pics, fix colour tones, alter the photo orientation and use really cool filtering effects. This app is empowering for a person who'll stop at nothing to get the right shot! - Jennifer

It may be one of the oldest apps out there, but I still love the convenience of being able to record a running list of my new fave tunes and add them to my music library on the go! - Tara
