It’s no secret that I’ve always been drawn to historic buildings with interesting architectural elements. Sometimes when you’re house hunting, serendipity and fate seem to play a role, and I think that’s certainly true for my mom’s home. Her real estate search fortuitously led her to this converted Methodist church, built in 1906. It was transformed into living space by a family in the 1970s, and then reimagined by us in recent years. Surrounded by fields and country views, perched high on a hill just outside a tiny village, it’s a light, bright, and airy oasis that’s truly one of a kind.
